So who are Make that Difference?

 

Make that Difference is a local volunteering campaign founded by Shivani Kanabar and based in Reading. Wanting to share her passion, Shivani established the campaign to help more young people appreciate the benefits of volunteering in an exciting and engaging way: by volunteering as a group.

 

Since then, members of the campaign have managed to help many local institutes in Reading, from organising music concerts at care homes to helping out at local museum events. Our work has led us to collaborating with some very important people in the area, including MP Alok Sharma.

 

Now we are looking to branch out and reach more young people in the community, helping them to connect with others and bridge the gap between the youth of Reading and the local community.
